Nacon has officially rescheduled the global launch of the action-RPG Edge of Memories to December 3, 2026. The title, which was previously slated for a November 5 release, will arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
The game features a third-person perspective set across the continent of Avaris, including locations like the Kaishan forest and the Kezal Mountains. It blends JRPG elements with a French animation style, featuring a soundtrack composed by Cédric Menendez, Mariam Abounnasr, and Yasunori Mitsuda, with contributions from vocalists Emi Evans and Marion Schneider.
To support the delay, an updated Steam demo arrives in early November 2026. This version incorporates community feedback to provide more dynamic combat, alongside various gameplay and accessibility refinements intended to optimize the initial hours of the adventure.
Players can currently pre-order the title. A Deluxe Edition is also planned, which includes 48-hour early access. The release follows the closure of Midgar Studio.
