Developer ACE Entertainment, known for Qinglan Story, has released a free demo for their upcoming road trip title, Wobbly Road Trip, on Steam. The game is also scheduled to participate in the October Steam Next Fest, with a full release currently planned for the fourth quarter of 2026.
In this cooperative experience, one to four players control cute monsters driving a custom-built camper van across Qinglan Island. The gameplay emphasizes freedom, allowing groups to explore diverse environments like islands, forests, and snowy mountains without a strict schedule. Players can navigate mazes, operate Ferris wheels, and document their journey by photographing mysterious creatures for a collection log.
The game features chaotic, non-fixed roles where players must coordinate driving, navigation, and camp setup. Communication is enhanced by proximity-based voice chat, though players may need walkie-talkies to stay connected. The experience is designed to be unpredictable, with potential for vehicles to crash or teammates to get chased by beasts while others are distracted by photography.
Players can customize their characters and decorate their mobile camper vans or campsites using items unlocked from vending machines. These rewards are earned by completing challenges and filling out the creature log. Additionally, the game includes survival elements like cooking, where players must feed their teammates to maintain their health during the journey.
