Square Enix has officially launched a crossover event between the roguelite RPG Dragon Quest Smash/Grow and Dragon Quest IV. This limited-time collaboration is currently active and scheduled to conclude on December 15.
The event introduces iconic characters from Dragon Quest IV, allowing players to unlock Ally Blessings that summon these figures to assist during stages. By increasing bond levels, users earn various items and blessings. Additionally, a future update will introduce Memoria Skills, which activate when a Rank S Character Memory is equipped in a matching color slot.
New equipment includes the Zenithian Sword, which features the Zenithian Strike Coup de Grâce for physical wind damage and the Zenithian Blast enchantment. These additions coincide with the game's half-anniversary celebration.
To mark the six-month milestone, players can claim up to 5,000 free gems via login bonuses until December 15. Furthermore, a promotion increasing gold and Adventurer Rank EXP for specific stages runs until November 4, though the experience boost is restricted to players at Rank 29 or lower. The game is currently available on iOS and Android platforms.
