Key information
Square Enix has officially launched the second post-launch update for Dragon Quest Heroes: Torneko's Mystery Dungeon -Classic HD-. The patch is currently available for players on PS5, Xbox, and Steam, with a release for the Switch platform scheduled to follow.
The update focuses on enhancing the overall game tempo. Key adjustments include improvements to the speed of battle messages, modifications to sound effect timing, and refined monster movement. Developers also addressed controller input issues, including a bug where inputs would get stuck.
Technical stability has been a priority, with fixes for issues that previously caused the game to become unresponsive during message displays or when picking up specific items. Other corrections resolve problems with Rockbomb chain explosions, trap activations, sleeping monsters, and diagonal movement stopping.
Additional improvements include fixes for achievement unlocking, Play Record data, and save file functionality. The developers also adjusted the player's vision range and updated the Directory. This release follows a previous update that targeted responsiveness.
