WeirdCo has officially unveiled the second set for the Cyberpunk Trading Card Game, titled Edgerunners: Burn Bright. This upcoming expansion is scheduled to launch in Spring 2027 and aims to integrate the Netflix anime series into the game's existing mechanics.
While specific product details and total card counts remain undisclosed, the developer has confirmed the inclusion of characters like Maine and Falco. Artwork previews suggest the introduction of new Gear cards, such as Maine's Badass Shades, and potential Legend-tier cards featuring Falco.
The expansion will introduce an all-new chase rarity tier to the game, intended to appeal to collectors. The publisher noted that the set will feature anime-inspired artwork, though the final balance between content from the original series and the new season remains to be seen.
This announcement follows the rollout of the initial set, Welcome to Night City, which is slated for a full retail release on November 6, 2026. Prerelease events for the first set are currently scheduled for the weekend preceding that date.
