Remedy Entertainment released the physical edition of the action-adventure RPG Control Resonant for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X on October 15, 2026. This title serves as a direct sequel to the 2019 game Control, with the digital version having launched for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on September 24.
The narrative follows Dylan Faden, the brother of the original protagonist Jesse Faden, seven years after the events of the first game. Set in Manhattan, the story centers on Dylan as he leaves the Federal Bureau of Control's Oldest House headquarters for the first time after spending most of his life in confinement and a coma.
Gameplay mechanics involve utilizing the Aberrant, a melee weapon capable of shifting into various forms. Players must strategically switch between these configurations to overcome dangerous adversaries and massive boss encounters throughout the experience.
The physical release includes a standard edition and a SteelBook version. The latter features the base game alongside a SteelBook case, three fine art prints, and a key art poster. Additionally, an accolade trailer highlighting critical reception has been published, and iam8bit is accepting pre-orders for themed merchandise, including apparel and FBC-themed items, until October 26.
