Shueisha Games announced on October 21, 2026, that the upcoming title Chronoscript: The Endless End will now be released on Xbox Series X|S. Developed by DeskWorks, the game is also slated for launch on PC and PlayStation 5.
The game is described as an exploration-based action adventure where players take on the role of an editor trapped within a manuscript. The narrative centers on a story that spans 1000 years, described as the continuation of an ending.
The developer has released an update for the existing Steam demo based on player feedback. Key improvements include refined character controls, the addition of a difficulty adjustment feature, and a complete redesign of the user interface.
The official release for all platforms, including the newly added Xbox Series X|S, is currently scheduled for early summer 2027.
