Developer Neos announced that the PC version of Culdcept BEGINS is scheduled for release on October 28. This title marks the first entry in the series to receive a traditional Chinese localization and serves as the first new installment in a decade.
The gameplay blends board game mechanics with card battling. Players navigate maps by rolling dice, managing decks to defend occupied territories, or capturing enemy lands. The objective is to accumulate the required amount of magic to secure victory in matches that support both solo play and online multiplayer for up to four participants.
Upon its PC launch, the game will feature the latest updates, including three additional maps and ten new cards. Furthermore, the developers have implemented various user interface improvements. These enhancements will also be made available to existing players on the Nintendo Switch platform via a software update.
While the PC version arrives on October 28, the game is already available on the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 consoles. Interested users can also participate in the Steam Next Fest to experience the title ahead of its full release.
