The demo for Ballistic.exe, a shooting simulator developed by Tic Tac Toe Digital and published by Kwalee, launched on October 9. As of the time of writing, the title has earned an overwhelmingly positive rating on Steam.
The game features deep ballistic simulation where factors like bullet weight, shape, barrel compatibility, temperature, and humidity influence trajectory and velocity. Projectiles falling below the speed of sound drop rapidly, and the game even simulates fragmentation upon impact.
Players must master manual firearm operations, including adjusting sights with screws, loading ammunition by hand, and managing safety switches and cocking mechanisms. Customization is extensive, offering over 1,000 parts and 200 ammunition types that affect weapon balance and handling.
Users earn coins by hitting targets in shooting challenges, which can be spent on new items. While the demo is currently available on Steam, the full version of the game is scheduled for release in 2027 and will include Japanese language support.
