AWOL Vision has officially opened pre-orders for the LuxVision, a new ultra-short-throw projector first showcased at IFA 2026. Interested customers can secure their unit by placing a $100, €100, or £100 deposit on the company's website between September 14 and November 2 to access early bird benefits.
The device is marketed as the first ultra-short-throw projector featuring vertical lens shift, allowing for image adjustment within a 142-152% offset range without compromising 4K detail. It utilizes an RGB triple-laser light source covering 110% of Rec 2020 and includes a 0.18:1 throw ratio, capable of projecting a 120-inch image from a distance of 7.5 inches.
Designed for modern gaming, the projector supports 4K at 120 Hz with a 1 ms input lag, VRR, and ALLM. It achieves 6,000 ISO lumens and incorporates Dolby Vision Gaming, HDR10+, and IMAX Enhanced support. Additionally, an optional Multiview upgrade allows users to display up to four simultaneous sources.
The official launch is scheduled for November 3, with an MSRP of $5,999 / €5,999 / £4,999. Available finishes include Eclipse Platinum, Boreal Oak, and Champagne Walnut, with custom options and hardware upgrades available for additional fees.
