Rebel Wolves has announced update 1.1 for its vampire RPG, The Blood of Dawnwalker. Scheduled for release next week, the patch introduces a unique directional petting mechanic for animals, utilizing the game's existing directional combat system.
The update includes a new consumable item, the Draught of Mind Rebirth, which allows players to redistribute skill points without restarting the game. Additionally, the developers are adding an easier difficulty mode and options to increase subtitle font sizes to improve accessibility.
Technical enhancements feature improved frame generation, refined camera movements, and a better target-lock system. Furthermore, the Japanese version of the game will have its explicit blood and violence content restored.
Rebel Wolves reports that this update contains over 1,100 improvements in total. Following the game's success, which saw over 1 million copies sold within its first two days, the studio views this title as the foundation for a future series of epic RPGs.
