All Nippon Airways recently unveiled a special livery aircraft featuring characters from the popular anime Chiikawa at Haneda Airport. This Boeing 767-300ER officially entered domestic service on the 19th of this month, operating its inaugural flight as NH661 from Haneda to Nagasaki.
The collaboration stems from a shared philosophy regarding teamwork. ANA stated that just as Chiikawa and friends overcome challenges together, the airline relies on the collective efforts of its staff to maintain flight operations. Following this launch, the company plans to release various collaborative merchandise.
The aircraft exterior features the characters surrounded by seasonal imagery representing different times of the year in Japan. Inside the cabin, passengers will find specially designed headrest covers that are not permitted to be taken off the plane. Additionally, the airline is providing beverage cups decorated with illustrations of Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi.
Travelers interested in experiencing this themed flight can find further details and scheduling information through the official ANA website.
