Developer Concode has officially scheduled the release of its upcoming mystery action-adventure title, Graytail, for the end of 2027. The announcement, made on October 21, 2026, accompanied the debut of a new trailer showcasing footage from the game's third chapter. The title is currently in development for PC and Xbox Series X|S platforms.
The narrative follows a detective suffering from severe headaches who teams up with a young woman to locate her mother, a famous pilot who vanished over the Pacific Ocean a decade prior. Gameplay involves traversing five distinct areas by motorcycle while solving puzzles by integrating weaponry with environmental objects.
Combat mechanics center on utilizing a cane as a primary weapon, supplemented by secondary items like umbrellas and frisbees. Concode plans to refine these combat systems and increase the density of the game's story and environments following a recent investment from Outersloth, an indie fund operated by Innersloth, the studio behind Among Us. Casey Yano of Mega Crit Games also participated in the funding.
In light of these development updates, the current demo available on Steam is scheduled to be removed in November. Concode intends to release a revised version of the demo at a later date to feature the updated combat mechanics.
