Jack Huynh, SVP & GM of Computing & Graphics at AMD, officially announced the expansion of FSR 4.1 technology to a broader range of hardware. This update includes support for the entire Radeon RX 6000 series, which utilizes the RDNA 2 architecture and dates back to 2020.

The company is extending this feature to various integrated graphics solutions. Supported hardware includes Ryzen AI Max Strix Halo and Gorgon Halo APUs, as well as Ryzen AI 9 Strix Point and Gorgon Point mobile processors. Additionally, the technology will be available for Ryzen Z2 series handheld processors.

AMD has collaborated with Microsoft to integrate FSR 4.1 into the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles. Furthermore, the company is introducing FSR 4.1 to the Vulkan API, which aims to facilitate implementation in major titles utilizing that interface.

While the company plans to bring FSR to additional APU models moving forward, current support for the FSR Redstone suite already encompasses over 400 games on Radeon RX 9000 series hardware, featuring Ray Regeneration and Frame Generation capabilities.
