Amazon has officially integrated its cloud gaming service, Amazon Luna, into the Prime Video catalog for users in Spain. This update allows Amazon Prime subscribers to access a vast library of titles directly through their televisions without requiring dedicated consoles, computers, or software downloads.
The service operates entirely via the cloud, enabling users to launch games instantly. While currently available in Spain, France, and Italy, Amazon plans to expand this functionality to additional European regions, including Germany, Portugal, Austria, and Sweden, throughout November.
Access is restricted to specific hardware, as users must utilize Fire TV devices to see the new Games tab within the Prime Video application. Once accessed, players can enjoy titles such as Star Wars: Galactic Racer, Hogwarts Legacy, Sonic X Shadow Generations, and Dispatch, with the library expanding monthly.
To simplify accessibility, players are not required to own a physical controller. Upon starting a game, a QR code appears on the screen, allowing users to transform their mobile devices into functional controllers, which also facilitates multiplayer sessions without the need for extra hardware.
