A new AI agent extension called Anatomy has been released, allowing users to generate interactive, isometric diagrams of mechanical devices based on simple text inputs. Developed by Ryan, this tool translates abstract concepts or technical ideas into functional visual representations.

The system excels at converting complex computer science concepts into concrete mechanical metaphors. For instance, it visualizes cache key mechanisms as pin tumbler locks, LRU caches as bookshelves, and hash map collisions as post office sorting desks.

Anatomy constructs diagrams using dozens to hundreds of parts, enabling smooth user interaction via mouse or keyboard. The tool includes a self-check feature that automatically verifies the integrity of the generated components to ensure parts do not overlap or float unnaturally.

Users can output designs as HTML, SVG, or React/Next.js components. Available under the MIT license for both commercial and non-commercial use, it supports integration with coding AIs like Claude Code and Codex. It offers three visual modes: basic SVG, SVG with WebGL for advanced effects, and a beta 3D mode for rotating parts.
