NVIDIA has officially announced the launch of RTX Spark, a new line of premium, slim Windows laptops. These devices integrate NVIDIA's Blackwell RTX GPU and Grace CPU into a single superchip, designed to deliver high-performance local AI, creative acceleration, and immersive gaming. The laptops are scheduled to be available globally starting October 16, with prices beginning at $2,599.
The RTX Spark architecture supports up to 128GB of unified memory and provides 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance. This hardware configuration allows users to run large language models and local AI agents directly on the device. The system incorporates NVIDIA's full-stack platform, including CUDA, DLSS, and TensorRT, to optimize both professional workflows and gaming experiences.
These laptops enable the deployment of local AI agents capable of tasks like coding, asset generation, and workflow automation. Supported agents include GitHub Copilot, Perplexity, and WorkBuddy. Furthermore, the platform includes security features like NVIDIA OpenShell and Microsoft Execution Containers to manage agent permissions effectively.
RTX Spark laptops will be manufactured by partners including ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft, and MSI. Specific models include the ASUS ProArt P14 and P16, Dell XPS 16, HP OmniBook Ultra, Lenovo Yoga Pro 9n, Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra, and MSI Prestige N16. Development tools for the platform include native support for Python, Conda, and PyTorch-CUDA builds on Windows on Arm.
