Developer Steph Thirion has officially announced that the sci-fi title Faraway will launch on November 5. The game is set to arrive on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch platforms.
First announced in 2010, the game features a shooting star traveling through the cosmos. Players utilize a single-button control scheme to create constellations and harness gravity to slingshot between destinations while maintaining fuel levels.
The experience is procedurally generated in real time based on player performance, ensuring each run begins from zero. Beyond the endless arcade mode, the title incorporates 16 handcrafted puzzle stages designed to challenge players.
Annapurna Interactive is publishing the title, which aims to balance discovery with long-term mastery. The publisher recently released Road Trip and Silent Hill: Townfall, with further projects like Demi and the Fractured Dream currently in development.
