Edia officially announced on October 16, 2026, that the time-leap survival horror adventure game Kakizuki no Yoru is coming to PC via Steam. While a demo is currently available for players to experience, the final release date and pricing for the Steam version remain unconfirmed. The title supports both Japanese and English languages.
The narrative follows a modern-day high school student who is reincarnated into a remote village during the early Showa era. The protagonist finds themselves caught as a participant in a mass murder event, forcing them to fight for survival within this isolated setting.
Gameplay centers on a time-loop mechanic where the protagonist returns to the same moment every time they die. Players must utilize knowledge gained from previous loops to uncover the village's dark traditions, secrets held by the inhabitants, and the true culprit's motives. Navigating the villagers' paranoia and the complex relationship between a pair of shunned twins is essential to escaping the recurring "thirty-person massacre."
This upcoming PC release follows the Nintendo Switch version of the game, which was previously launched on January 29.
