Paradox Interactive announced that the new Stellaris DLC, Willpower, will launch on November 23. This expansion will be available for PC users via Steam, GOG.com, and the Microsoft Store.
The core addition is the Ideology system, which allows values to spread across borders. Players can utilize new facilities like the Galactic Hall to propagate their own beliefs or counter foreign influence, potentially swaying other nations or causing internal instability within their own borders.
This update aims to deepen the game's political mechanics, which were previously considered simpler than other Paradox titles. Beyond the Ideology system, the DLC includes the new Willpower ambition, three origins, five fanatic civics, over 40 events, eight paragons, and new ship and city sets.
The release of Willpower coincides with the free version 4.6 update, titled Corona Borealis. While the base game is available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass, the Willpower DLC is specifically scheduled for PC platforms.
