The Japanese publication Famitsu has released the first review for Square Enix's Final Fantasy Resonance, the company's inaugural HD-2D entry in the long-running series.
According to the magazine's panel of analysts, players will require over 20 hours to complete the main narrative, though reaching the conclusion of the quest to save the world may take up to 30 hours.
Described as a classic JRPG adventure, the title offers significantly more content for completionists, with the total playtime potentially extending to 70 hours for those who engage in every available activity.
The game earned a score of 36 out of 40 from Famitsu. This rating places it below all mainline entries in the franchise released since Final Fantasy 6, trailing behind titles like Final Fantasy 12, which holds a perfect 40, and others such as Final Fantasy 16, 10, and 13, which each received 39 points.
