Developer House House has officially confirmed that its cooperative hit, Big Walk, will not be released on Xbox Series consoles. The studio stated that this absence is an intentional decision rather than a technical limitation, as they are actively participating in a boycott against Microsoft.

The decision is aligned with the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, which is led by Palestinians and targets Microsoft. House House indicated that the game will remain unavailable on Xbox platforms as long as Microsoft or Xbox continue to be targets of this movement.

House House acknowledged the disappointment this causes for players who intended to enjoy the cooperative experience with friends. The studio expressed that they share this disappointment, noting that the exclusion of the Xbox platform contradicts their goal of making the game accessible to groups of friends.

Big Walk, which launched in August 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2, has seen significant success, selling over one million copies in its first week. The title is designed for two to twelve players and focuses on exploration and communication-based puzzles.
