Capcom has officially announced that a prologue demo for Monster Hunter Wilds is coming to the Switch 2 platform. This trial version is scheduled to launch on October 19.
The demo provides access to the game's opening story sequence. Players are permitted to transfer their save data from this prologue directly into the full version of the title upon its release.
Regarding gameplay features, the demo supports local multiplayer sessions. However, Capcom has confirmed that online multiplayer functionality will not be available for this specific release.
While the full Switch 2 version of Monster Hunter Wilds is slated for December 4, the demo is also currently accessible on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
