Players guide a boxer from amateur status to the professional peak. The gameplay involves rigorous training, dietary management, and combat. Participants may even resort to doping to overcome opponents, though the developers warn that reckless actions can lead to fatal consequences.
The game distinguishes itself from traditional boxing titles by incorporating unexpected scenarios. The launch trailer features scenes of characters lying in hospital beds and engaging in gunfights, suggesting a gritty narrative approach.
Bruisers 2D Boxing is currently available on Steam for 2,800 yen. The developers anticipate an early access period lasting approximately 2 years, during which they plan to expand the career mode, add story elements to the pro mode, and introduce further customization options.
