The free web-based life simulator 80 Billion to 1 has added a Traditional Chinese interface. Developed by South Korean creator Jin Hwi-eus, the game uses real-world statistical data from organizations like the United Nations and the World Health Organization to simulate lives across 172 countries and regions.

Players cannot choose their birthplace, parents, or economic status. Instead, they begin at age zero and make decisions regarding education, work, health, and family. The game simulates life paths based on regional mortality tables and disease burden data, with events like childhood mortality, war, and poverty included to reflect reality.

The developer notes that while the game relies on national averages, these statistics have limitations in capturing the nuances of specific social classes or regions. Some players have provided feedback on unrealistic scenarios, which the developer uses to refine the simulation. The game is recommended for players aged 15 and older due to its heavy themes.

The project was created using generative AI, allowing a single developer to build a massive simulation in a short timeframe. It is currently available as a free browser-based test version in four languages, including Traditional Chinese, Japanese, English, and Korean.
