Stardock has officially announced that the real-time strategy sequel, Ashes of the Singularity II, is scheduled for release on November 10, 2026. The game will be available on Steam and directly through the publisher.
The narrative centers on a conflict for humanity's survival in the near future. Players can command three distinct factions: the United Earth Forces, the Post-Human Coalition, and the AI Substrate. Each faction offers unique units and strategic philosophies.
Gameplay focuses on large-scale logistics and planning rather than individual unit reflexes. Features include continent-sized maps, a Strategic Zoom function for seamless transitions between orbital and frontline views, and environments that sustain persistent damage.
Stardock noted that development improvements regarding balance, performance, and stability were informed by player feedback from the Steam Next Fest demo and September playtests. The base game will launch at $39.99, with a Premium Edition priced at $69.99.
