A hacker known as Cyberleek has released footage purportedly showing the final mission of Rockstar Games' upcoming title, Grand Theft Auto VI. This individual, who has been leaking gameplay clips for several months, claims to be ending their campaign of leaks as the game's November 19, 2026, release date approaches.
The leaker previously attempted to leverage interest in the game to boost the value of a cryptocurrency, setting a goal of 30 million dollars in market capitalization in exchange for a 200 GB unfinished build of the game. Because this financial milestone was not met, the leaker stated that the build will not be released.
While the latest footage allegedly depicts the game's conclusion, it lacks significant narrative context or major story revelations. However, the leaker has issued a threat to Take-Two, claiming that a dead man's switch is active. They warn that if they are apprehended by the company, they will release full story spoilers, including the game's ending.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar Games has recently begun its official promotional campaign, sharing details regarding the game's climate system, fast travel, and character imagery for Jason and Lucia.
