Nintendo has unveiled a new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, a remake arriving on the Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026. The title features a fully reimagined Hyrule, complete with orchestral arrangements, expanded dialogue, and full voice acting for cutscenes.

The gameplay introduces interactive mechanics utilizing the Switch 2 microphone, allowing players to hum melodies to play the Ocarina. Additionally, a new feature called the Pantheon displays statues of defeated monsters, offering players a space to learn about enemies or re-engage them in combat.

IGN reports that the remake is not a direct recreation of the original, as developers redesigned rooms and puzzles. While the core adventure remains, the expanded dialogue provides deeper context for the world, such as shopkeepers explaining local supply issues. Visually, the game runs at 60 frames per second with enhanced textures and lighting.

The game includes a new Time Trajectory feature to track objectives and supports the ZELDA NOTES smartphone service. Nintendo plans to release two new amiibo figures in 2027, while early purchasers of the digital version before November 23, 2026, will receive a 40th-anniversary wallpaper.
