SteelSeries has officially released its new Sensei Pro and Rival Pro mouse series in Taiwan, priced at NT$6,490. These models integrate Ultra-Wideband (UWB) wireless technology and True 8K Polling Rate capabilities to enhance performance.

The mice utilize UWB technology to operate on a wider frequency spectrum, ensuring stable connections in dense wireless environments. They feature the TrueMove 42K Pro optical sensor and optical switches rated for one hundred million clicks with a 0.35ms response time. Users can adjust polling rates up to 8,000Hz for smoother tracking.

A key design feature is the hot-swappable dual-battery system, allowing users to charge one battery while the other is in use. At an 8K polling rate, a single battery lasts approximately 16 hours, extending to 60 hours at 1K. Content creators noted the battery compartment's rear placement provides a balanced feel, preventing a top-heavy sensation during rapid movements.

Available in standard and mini sizes in black or white, the mice cater to different grip styles. Creators suggested the symmetrical Sensei Pro suits claw or fingertip grips for tactical shooters, while the ergonomic Rival Pro is better for palm grips and tracking-heavy titles. The products officially launched on October 14.
