Blizzard is nearing the official release of World of Warcraft Forever, with the current three-week beta testing phase scheduled to conclude on Friday morning. Before the beta ends, the developer is hosting a final stress test today, which is set to run from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm eastern. Participation in this stress test requires a World of Warcraft account, though an active subscription is not mandatory.
Following the beta, Blizzard will initiate a name reservation period for players who purchased higher-tier game editions. Starting October 27th at 4:00 pm eastern in North America, eligible users may secure names for a maximum of three characters across all available rulesets.
The game is slated for a full launch on November 4th, introducing a mix of classic and nine new dungeons spanning various level ranges. Content updates will continue shortly after release, with the first three raids—The Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit, and Onyxia’s Lair—scheduled to unlock on December 9th. Accessing Onyxia’s Lair will specifically require players to complete a lengthy attunement quest chain.
