Developer STAYRESIDENT has unveiled a free demo for its upcoming productivity-focused adventure game, Finestra: My Focus, Her Future. The trial version is scheduled for release on October 16, ahead of the title's participation in the Steam Next Fest beginning October 19.
The game functions as a hybrid of a life simulation and a work utility tool. Players interact with a digital girl named Finestra, whose growth is tied to the player's real-world focus sessions. By utilizing a Pomodoro timer, players convert their study or work time into character development points.
Finestra features stats like intelligence, sensitivity, and morality, which are influenced by activities such as painting, reading, and studying. Players can shape her personality and appearance through dialogue choices and training methods, leading to nine distinct character archetypes, including tsundere, aloof, or cheerful variations.
Beyond the simulation elements, the software includes productivity tools like a customizable Pomodoro timer, to-do lists, habit trackers, and an ambient sound mixer. The experience is complemented by over 50 Kawaii Future Bass tracks and will feature Japanese voice acting alongside 20 unique endings.
