Key information

Developer TECOPARK has officially requested that users refrain from purchasing the Nintendo Switch version of the cooperative puzzle game PICO PARK on the Nintendo Switch 2. This advisory follows reports of a critical technical issue that renders the game unplayable on the new hardware.

The specific malfunction occurs during online play, where users encounter a white screen in WORLD 1-2, preventing any further progress. While the developer has not issued recent updates to the game itself, they are currently investigating the root cause, which may involve system-level updates on the Nintendo Switch 2 console.

TECOPARK has contacted Nintendo to explore the possibility of temporarily suspending sales on the eShop to protect consumers. Despite the developer's request, the game remains available for purchase at the time of writing, and the eShop currently displays a notice stating that no issues were found during compatibility testing.

The developer clarified that the sequel, PICO PARK 2, is not affected by this issue and remains fully functional. Players interested in the original title are encouraged to monitor the official PICO PARK X account for updates regarding a resolution.
