Logitech G will release the PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE gaming mouse on October 15 for 32,450 yen. Positioned as a premium model alongside the existing PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE, this latest entry in the e-sports-focused series introduces significant internal refinements while maintaining the traditional symmetrical shape.
The mouse features an upgraded HERO 2 sensor with a maximum resolution of 48,000 DPI, 90G acceleration, and 930 IPS. Powered by the new NxLOGI chipset, the device offers improved battery life of up to 135 hours and supports an 8,000Hz report rate via wired connection. The HITS haptic trigger system remains, allowing for customizable click feedback and rapid trigger functionality.
Reviewer assessments highlight the improved weight balance, with the center of gravity now aligned with the sensor, effectively resolving the front-heavy issues noted in the previous model. The mouse weighs 59g, a reduction from the 61g of its predecessor. However, the reviewer noted that the side buttons still utilize traditional mechanical switches, suggesting room for future improvement.
Additionally, the company introduced the PRO X CONTROL, the series' first mouse pad. Priced at 9,900 yen, it features a 460x400mm surface with omnidirectional knit fabric for uniform glide. While high-priced for a cloth pad, it offers excellent stability and durability with its 6mm Slimflex base.
