The game supports up to eight players in a cooperative horror experience where participants must fish to feed a monster residing in an ancient lake. Players must provide a specific daily quota of fish before nightfall, or the creature will consume the group instead.
Surplus fish can be sold for currency to purchase equipment or upgrades from merchants located throughout the map. Players must navigate dangers such as territorial beasts and predatory threats while seeking opportunities to strike back against the monster.
The full release introduces a new ending and an accessory system for upgrading fishing rods and lines. Additionally, the developers implemented network optimizations and various bug fixes to improve the overall gameplay experience.
