Nexon has officially released MapleStory Classic World to a global audience today. The title, which the publisher describes as a source of true nostalgia, previously underwent a founder’s access phase that began on October 6th.
The game is accessible as a free-to-play experience through both Steam and the official Nexon launcher. Players can now access the full version, which includes specific launch period incentives such as a snail pet for those who log in.
This version features a reimagined take on the legacy experience, limiting players to five base classes. It incorporates older mechanics and a slower leveling pace alongside a fresh economy hosted on unique servers.
To distinguish this release from other iterations, the developers have introduced new zones and content. Comprehensive installation instructions, version 1.0 patch notes, and guides for starting on Maple Island are currently available on the official website.
