Developer Gino has launched a free playable demo for its upcoming PC roguelite action RPG, Bless You Again. The title features 3D anime-style visuals powered by a proprietary Unreal Engine 5 cell shader.
Combat centers on a loop where players strike enemies with a staff to accumulate mana, which is then expended to unleash magical attacks. Players can choose between two distinct characters, Lily and Yoru, to navigate dungeons that change structure with every run.
The game incorporates permanent progression, allowing players to grow stronger at a base after failing a run. Each session lasts approximately 20 to 30 minutes, with the narrative unfolding as players delve deeper into the dungeons.
The demo is currently available on Steam and supports controllers. While progress does not carry over to the full release, creators are permitted to monetize gameplay videos. Further details regarding the final price and release date remain forthcoming.
