New accessibility features include a game speed adjustment setting, allowing players to slow down time to better react to enemy patterns without reducing projectile density. Additionally, an auto-fire option assists players who struggle with sustained button presses, though manual reloading remains a required skill.
The update expands the Karkosa modifier system with 10 new defensive and 10 trial modifiers. Notably, the 'Erosion Melee Boost' turns a dangerous status effect into a damage-dealing tool. These modifiers are central to the new 'Eclipse Tier' New Game+ mode, where players must meet specific difficulty thresholds to progress and earn cosmetic crowns that signify their skill level.
Finally, the 'Dominator Simulation' mode offers time-attack challenges against bosses.
