Adamantite serves as a vital resource in Final Fantasy Resonance, appearing primarily in mid- and end-game regions. While the game does not explicitly detail its utility, players can exchange these items with a master weaponsmith to craft high-tier equipment for their party.
To access these upgrades, players must recruit Aileen by completing the "Forger of Wills" side quest, which becomes available in Dilmagia during Chapter 5. Once recruited, Aileen can be found on the airship deck. Starting in Chapter 6, she will craft powerful weapons for specific party members upon request.
There are eight total pieces of Adamantite available. Players can acquire them by submitting 80 and 89 tablet shards, scanning the bay north of Olderion after upgrading the airship, or purchasing one from a roaming merchant ship for 35,000 gil. Additionally, three pieces are earned by completing Fledgling Battle 2, Brawler Battle 2, and Brawler Battle 3 at the Grandshelt colosseum.
These weapons represent the second-best gear for most characters. While optional content offers even stronger alternatives, these Adamantite-forged items are sufficient to complete the game. Polygon advises prioritizing weapons for frequently used party members, as obtaining the material can become difficult later.
