KOMODO has announced a restock of the Steam Machine compact gaming PC and the Steam Frame wireless VR headset for the Japanese market. Sales for these devices commenced via the official KOMODO STATION online store.
The Steam Machine is a Valve-developed PC running SteamOS, designed for connection to televisions or monitors. It features a compact 16cm chassis, a semi-custom AMD CPU and GPU, and supports up to 4K resolution via FSR 4.1. The Steam Frame is a wireless VR headset and controller system utilizing a 6GHz wireless adapter for PC streaming, though it also includes a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and 16GB of RAM for standalone play.
The restock includes four specific models: the 512GB Steam Machine, a Steam Machine bundle with the Steam Controller, and the 256GB and 1TB versions of the Steam Frame. As of the time of writing, the 256GB Steam Frame model appears to have sold out immediately, while the other three configurations remain available for purchase.
