Game Source Entertainment has announced that the physical edition of Starship Troopers: Extermination is scheduled for release on January 28, 2027. Pre-orders for the title opened on October 9, with the game priced at HKD 318.
The game features intense retro-style FPS combat, offering a full single-player campaign and a diverse arsenal of weapons for the Mobile Infantry. Players will face endless swarms of bugs throughout their missions.
A notable addition is the bug perspective mode, which allows players to experience the battlefield from the insectoid side for the first time. Furthermore, the game supports offline play, ensuring that combat can continue even without an active internet connection.
The physical release will be available on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. The package includes high-quality FMV sequences, featuring exclusive messages from General Johnny Rico.
