Edia has announced that the new otome game Astraea no Zaiga is scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch on March 25, 2027. This title serves as the first entry in the MintLip+ brand, a new label for female-oriented games managed by Edia subsidiary Team Entertainment.
The game is categorized as a crime suspense romance adventure. Players take on the role of a detective assigned to the 11th Information Investigation Room, a specialized unit tasked with handling major national cases that cannot be investigated through official channels. The narrative focuses on uncovering the truth behind a partner's mysterious disappearance while navigating a web of suspense and romance.
The development team features character designer Hachi Uehara, main scenario writer Ren Mikado, and producers Aika Kuboshima. The game includes a variety of characters, such as a computer specialist with an IQ over 180, a ruthless mafia boss, and a charismatic young politician. The story emphasizes scale, with various plot threads connecting to reveal the truth.
Astraea no Zaiga will be available in a standard edition and a digital version for 8,580 yen including tax. A special edition priced at 14,080 yen including tax will also be released, featuring an exclusive box, a voice drama CD, an original soundtrack download card, and a collection of setting materials and short stories.
