Canadian player SAPPYYY secured victory at the Summoners War World Arena Championship 2026 America Cup. Despite being ranked third in pre-tournament predictions, SAPPYYY defeated top contenders to earn a spot in the upcoming World Finals.
The tournament took place on October 11 at the Chrysalis Hall in Toronto Metropolitan University. Eight competitors participated in a single-elimination bracket, playing best-of-five matches to determine which three players would advance to the global stage.
SAPPYYY began the event by defeating TRUEWHALE, the top-ranked player and two-time regional champion from 2023 and 2024. After overcoming ZEDORUS in the semifinals, SAPPYYY defeated ZEZAS in a five-set final to claim the title.
ZEZAS finished as runner-up, while MONAGUA secured the final qualification spot by defeating ZEDORUS in the third-place match. These three players will join nine others at the World Finals in Seoul on November 14 to compete for the tenth world championship title.
