Indie developer AINFORGE has officially unveiled its upcoming PC title, Abyssal Starfeast. This horror-themed cooking simulator places players in a sinister kitchen located at the bottom of the ocean, where they must survive for a duration of 7 days while serving meals to bizarre patrons.
The gameplay requires players to manage the entire culinary process, from catching fish to preparation, cooking, plating, and serving. Players must combine various techniques like seasoning, grilling, and boiling to fulfill orders. Because each request has a strict time limit, multitasking is essential to prevent customers from becoming angry.
The experience is complicated by environmental hazards, such as cracks appearing in the kitchen walls and other threats that disrupt cooking. Players must decide whether to prioritize food preparation or address these immediate dangers. Conversations with daily visitors reveal a dark narrative, with multiple endings determined by order completion and final player choices.
Abyssal Starfeast is currently scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2026. The PC version will include support for the Japanese language.
