Astralis has officially transitioned Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen and Jakob “jabbi” Nygaard to its bench. This decision arrives shortly after the organization celebrated its first LAN tournament win since December 2019 at the Stake Ranked Episode 4 event held in Barcelona.
Under the leadership of HooXi, the squad achieved several notable results, including grand-final placements at PGL Astana 2025, FISSURE Playground 1, and PGL Bucharest 2026. HooXi had transitioned to a permanent role in June 2025, while jabbi joined the organization in November 2023.
While the benching is confirmed, the team's future composition remains uncertain. Reports from Sport.ua suggest potential interest in Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek and Nikita “cmtry” Samolotov, though Astralis has not verified these signings. The current active roster features Love “phzy” Smidebrant, Victor “Staehr” Staehr, and Gytis “ryu” Glušauskas.
The organization is preparing for its next competition, Stake Pulse Beat III, which is slated to commence on October 12, 2026. Speculation regarding the roster continues as the team navigates the current competitive cycle.
