Konami intends to expand the Silent Hill franchise further following the successful launch of its recent revival projects. Producer Motoi Okamoto confirmed in an interview with Famitsu that the company is already developing plans for a second and third wave of titles.
The initial phase included the Silent Hill 2 remake, Silent Hill Townfall, and Silent Hill f. Okamoto noted that these three releases were essential to his vision, as he believed reviving the series required more than just a single remake.
Okamoto expressed satisfaction with the performance and reception of these first three games. While he confirmed that Konami is currently working on a number of projects, he declined to provide specific details regarding the upcoming waves.
Beyond the completed first wave, the only other officially confirmed project at this time is a remake of the original game in the series.
