Police in Santa Ana, California, have confirmed that a shipment of trading cards valued at approximately $963,000 was stolen in mid-October. The theft occurred when a FedEx vehicle was left unattended outside the PSA headquarters for a period of 60 to 90 minutes, allowing individuals to break the truck's lock and remove multiple pallets of collectibles.

The stolen pallets contained a variety of items, including sports and Pokémon cards. While the Santa Ana Police Department noted that the exact total value remains subject to an ongoing investigation, they have requested that anyone with relevant information contact local authorities.

In response to the incident, PSA has committed to providing refunds to the affected customers based on the fair market value of their items, up to the maximum insured limit. Additionally, the company has deactivated the certification numbers associated with all the stolen goods to prevent their circulation.

FedEx issued a statement to ABC7 regarding the security breach, emphasizing that the safety of customer shipments is a primary concern. The company is currently cooperating with law enforcement officials as the investigation into the burglary continues.
