Key information
Elite Dangerous has received a new update featuring various gameplay additions and ship adjustments. While players await a major content injection scheduled for December, this release provides immediate updates accessible to the community.
The update introduces the Anaconda Mk II, a multi-role vessel available through the cash shop in early access. According to The Buur Pit, this ship includes three Mk II fittings—ablative armor, cargo racks, and a mining volley repeater—offering a versatile upgrade over the original model despite lacking specialized expertise.
Players favoring credit-based ships benefit from several balance changes. The Mandalay receives increased jump ranges, while the Asp Scout undergoes multiple adjustments. Additionally, the Type-7 Transporter gains weight reduction and improved heat management, and both the Imperial Clipper and Federal Dropship see slight speed enhancements.
A new operation instance titled Found Adrift challenges teams to secure a valuable asset from an abandoned megaship before rival scavengers arrive. The update also implements numerous bug fixes and increases the variety of spacecraft encountered during PvE activities.
