Developer Nugget Lab has launched a free demo for its upcoming social deduction party game, Burger Werewolf, on Steam. The title is currently featured as part of the Steam Next Fest event. The full game is scheduled for release in 2026.
In this cooperative cooking game, players are secretly assigned roles as either staff members or spies. The group must work together to assemble a single hamburger while fulfilling specific customer requests, such as stacking ingredients high. Spies are tasked with sabotaging the process by providing false information regarding customers' secret dislikes, aiming to cause the burger to collapse.
If the burger fails to hold together, players must engage in a discussion and vote to identify the suspected spy. The game supports up to six players and offers various modes, including a quick mode and a standard mode that emphasizes score calculation and information verification. Players can also utilize unique character skills and customize rules to suit their preferences.
For those preferring a solo experience, a story mode is available to help players learn the mechanics while following the narrative of the characters. The game was also recently featured on the television program Noda Kuri no Yabo, which is currently available for streaming on TVer.
