Mchose has officially released the R9 wireless gaming headphones, priced at $69. A pre-order promotion currently offers the device for $49, with general availability and standard pricing scheduled to begin on October 29.
The headset features 53 mm composite drivers and a detachable 360° microphone equipped with AI noise reduction. Mchose collaborated with the EDG Valorant esports team to tune the audio profile specifically for gaming sounds like gunfire and footsteps.
Designed for comfort, the 235 g unit includes a steel frame, leatherette padding, and a floating headband with adjustable pivot and swivel mechanics. Users can manage three customizable sound profiles via a dedicated PC or mobile application.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4, 2.4 GHz wireless, and USB Type-C. The device supports PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, and smartphones. A 1,050 mAh battery provides up to 150 hours of usage, while the 2.4 GHz mode offers latency as low as 15 ms.
