Forza Horizon 6 is officially scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5 on January 26. This release will coincide with the debut of the game's first major expansion, although specific content details for that add-on remain undisclosed.
Players interested in the title can pre-order the Premium Edition to secure five days of early access. Additionally, all pre-orders across any version on the platform include a pre-tuned Ferrari J50 as a bonus incentive.
IGN awarded the title a 10/10 score, highlighting its dense map design, technical prowess, and well-paced campaign structure. The review explicitly labels the game as a masterpiece and the new benchmark for the open-world racing genre.
The launch timing follows speculation that the game might miss its original 2026 window. By arriving in January, the title avoids direct competition with GTA 6, aiming to capitalize on the strong demand established by the success of its predecessor on the console.
